Black Eagle Stout
Black Eagle is an existing brand in Myanmar with no prior brand communication.
The challenge was to establish a memorable brand recall for this niche category.
After a thorough research into Burmese consumers, WTD felt it was essential to build on the name of “Black” and “Eagle”. Executed literally and deliberately to establish a natural connection that also matched the premium tier of the black stout when compared to the Lager Beer category. The mysterious color scheme created intrigue, distinctiveness and long-term brand equity.

Online was the Brand’s key to drive awareness – however, WTD initiated a range of collaterals and traditional outdoor media such as billboards, posters, and street ambient.
The brand role is to empower consumers to continue their daily challenges. The tagline “Reveal the Fighter in You” is told in an eagle analogy.
The brand wants to remind consumers that the eagle spirit lives inside each of us, and they can call on that spirit for strength, grace, and intelligence.
