The design for the summit had to be distinctively Japanese using strong cultural ques and elements that are pronounced Japanese. The identity was then applied to a wide range of conference materials for all 3 phases. Pre-summit communication the actual environment at the convention center as well as the online and post-summit collaterals. A range of applications were designed with us while another portion was developed by a design team in Japan. This is worth mentioning because it is a true test when it comes to creating design tools and to see if they are actually applicable by others.
